LG Cosmos Touch Phone (Verizon Wireless)



The second generation of the LG Cosmos, the slim, sleek, and feature-packed LG Cosmos Touch for Verizon Wireless boasts both a brightly colorful touchscreen display and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard--making it ideal for on-the-go text messaging fanatics. It also includes direct uploading of images to Facebook and MySpace, and a Favorites Key that enables you to connect with your 11 most frequent contacts in a flash.

The Cosmos Touch is compatible with the V Cast Music with Rhapsody service, which enables you to purchase songs on your PC with a Rhapsody subscription and side-load them onto the phone via a USB connection. The Cosmos Touch also offers several eco-friendly attributes, including a battery cover is made of 30 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. Additionally, the battery cell does not contain lead, cadmium, or mercury, and the phone's packaging materials and in-box collateral are made from high-percentage post-consumer recycled paper and printed with soy ink. Finally, it comes with a high-efficiency, halogen-free charger that alerts you when the battery is full--helping you to reduce power consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Other features include a 1.3-megapixel camera for still photos, Bluetooth for hands-free devices and stereo music streaming, microSD memory expansion to 16 GB, access to personal e-mail and instant messaging services, music player, and up to 6 hours of talk time.
