Motorola FLIPOUT Android Phone (AT&T)

Packed with the power of the Android 2.1 platform and the latest version of MOTOBLUR--Motorola's exclusive smartphone experience--the highly pocketable Motorola FLIPOUT for AT&T features a stylishly square, innovative pivot design. When closed, the FLIPOUT offers a 2.8-inch touchscreen display that's complemented by a simple array of navigation buttons. But it also rotates on a hinge to expose a five-row QWERTY keypad with a separate number row for easy, on-the-go messaging. It also comes with two battery covers--in orange and blue--enabling you to personalize the phone to suit your mood or look.

With integrated Google technology, the Motorola FLIPOUT brings one-touch access to the popular Google mobile services millions use every day, including Google Search by Voice, YouTube and Picasa. It also provides easy access to both personal and corporate email, calendars, and contacts supported by Exchange Server and Gmail. And through Android Market, you'll get access to thousands of useful applications, widgets and fun games to download and install on your phone, with many more apps being added every day.

Enabled for use on AT&T's lightning quick HSPDA 3G network, you'll be able to easily access the Internet as well as quickly download video, music and more. Additionally, with AT&T's 3G network, you can make a call while simultaneously receiving picture/text messages and e-mail or viewing Web pages. And with its Wireless-N Wi-Fi capabilities (802.11b/g/n), the FLIPOUT will receive AT&T Wi-Fi access at U.S. hotspots (with more than 20,000 U.S. hotspots) included as part of an unlimited data plan.

A hot-swappable microSD/SDHC memory card slot provides additional storage for multimedia files and archiving applications, with a 2 GB memory card included and support for optional 32 GB cards. Other features include a 3.1-megapixel autofocus camera/camcorder, Bluetooth for hands-free devices and stereo music streaming, access to personal and corporate e-mail as well as popular instant messaging services, and up to 4.5 hours of talk time.
